HM The Queen
It is with great regret that we mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She personified a generation that endured so much – the war, rationing, economic struggle and the decline of so much that was important to all of them: the British Empire, the Anglican church, respect for tradition and many of the constitutional values of the United Kingdom. She bore this, as that generation mostly did – with great dignity, wisdom, courage and perseverance. Her dedication to public service was an outstanding example to us all. We now offer our humble and loyal condolences to the Royal Family and in particular to our new King, His Majesty King Charles III.
